It's official! IHSA recognizes lacrosse for 2011 season

IHSA has approved state series for boys and girls lacrosse starting

in the 2010-2011 school year. The sport will become an officialspring sport provided that a minimum 65 boys teams and 40 girls teams are registered by February 2011. This is great news for lacrosse in Illinois!
